Who Was Who in Vintage Broadcasting

We still have the radios, but there is something missing. We have lost the programmes. There was little technology to record radio programmes before the second world war, and everything tended to be done live. So, is there nothing we can do?

Not quite. There are some reminders left to be found. For instance, if one tracks down the right two series of cigarette cards, one can get colour pictures of a hundred different 1930s radio stars. And some of them did record something. In many cases, someone popular enough for the radio would also be popular enough for someone to make a record of them. And guess who's got all the cigarette cards and lots of old 78RPM records? Well, of course, so here's a bit of a "retrospective" on Who was Who in Vintage Broadcasting. We've organised the stars in alphabetical order, so pick a page and dive in!
